Guernica - Vancouver Film School (VFS)

One point extra credit. First come first served. Each person contributing can earn only one point toward midterm. How do you earn that one point? In this video there are lots of references to artworks, art periods, and artists. You must tell me what it is and give a reference to the clock time(i.e. 1:21) so I know what you are talking about. No duplications. The first person pointing it out --correctly-- gets the point. Only one point per person. Must post it in the comment section only. No email.

Time= 1:20

The picture is of the Clocks like in Salvador Dali's "The Persistance of Memory." This also shows Surrealism.

These are the ones I recognized:
"The Persistence of Memory" (1:23), by Salvador Dali. This is a surrealistic piece.
"Realitivity" (1:55), by M. C. Escher, Op Art.
and "Guernica" (2:55) by Pablo Picasso, Cubism.
Do i need to name any more? I couldn't tell if that was all of them or not.

At 1m59s, the scene morphs into MC Escher's Relativity (1953).

MC Escher was a Dutch graphic artist who personified mezzotints and the like.

33 seconds into... Vincent Van Gogh's "Bedroom in Arles" Guy gets off bed, the room he is in IS the painting... Van Gogh was a Post-Impressionist.
